Art Projects

During the last 15 years, Igor Chapurin has expressed himself in the most unexpected scenes – art exhibitions, theatrical plays, social events and even web design. The ability to turn habitual things to unique art objects became the key to success in production of excusive clothing, jewelry and art pieces. In 2004, designer together with the SWAROVSKI brand created gymnastic costumes for the world champions Irina Tchachina and Alina Kabaeva. In 2010 Igor Chapurin created a costume for Naomi Campbell, taking part in the Neon Innovative charity event organized by the supermodel and artist Aidan Salahova. Some of his other art projects include creating costumes for the Eurovision international singing contest, design of the Commedia Dell’arte statue and taking part in the international Igoogle Artists project. Designer always has an individual approach to each art-project yet they all share his significant vision.
